A well-equipped precision machining facility that provides highly skilled machining capabilities

Fitzroy Engineering’s Precision Machining Division includes some of the most up-to-date equipment and processes available. We have extensive experience and have developed machining techniques to provide unique services to a wide variety of industries.

Machining capabilities:
CNC lathe for drill stem machining with 355mm spindle bore and three metres between centres allowing for the machining of thread items up to twelve metres in length
Mechanised drill stem handling facilities including powered scissor lift cart with stem cradle and rotator, hydraulically operated drill stem straightener
CNC machining centre
CNC lathe turning centre
In situ (on-site) line boring, milling and shaft turning
In situ (on-site) flange facing, pipe cutting, weld preparation
Tool and cutter sharpening such as rotobroaches and machine assisted drill-sharpening services up to 80mm
Band saw wheel re-sleeving
Keyway broaching both metric and imperial
Specific machining skills for the oil and gas industry including offshore platform work
Experienced in machining exotic materials such as titanium, SAF2205, duplex, aluminium, plastic as well as standard steel ranges
