Industrial Coatings

Fitzroy Engineering’s Industrial Coatings Division offers a complete solution for all industrial and commercial coatings including on-site maintenance to all types of industry.

Facilities include a 1052m² shop equipped with overhead cranes and plenty of room for surface preparation and painting. Mobile cranes are available on-site for lifts of up to 50 tonnes.

Our fully equipped facility also features two blast booths :

• Garnet blasting booth: 17m long x 14.5m wide x 15m high
• Bead blasting room: 6m long x 2.4m wide x 2.4m high

Both booths have recycling and dust scrubbing systems to maximise the efficiency and quality of our process.

Our site operations department has a team of specialist blasters and painters who work to maintain offshore and onshore oil and gas assets throughout the Taranaki region. This combined with our own scaffolding and industrial abseiling division gives our clients a single source contractor for all maintenance painting programmes.

In order to provide the highest quality of service we employ two CBIP Certified Coatings Inspectors and one ACA Certified Coatings Inspector who monitor work on-site and in the blasting and painting shop.
